  The most cost effective material and manufacturing process depends on the geometrical complexity, the anticipated volume, the geometrical tolerances, the overall size, the lead time available, the corrosion resistance required plus the overall strength and application of the component. • Metal to Plastic Conversion
  The rapid advances in plastics materials in recent year’s means that many components that used to only be viable in metal can now be satisfactorily made in plastic with weight and cost savings. • Combining Metal and Plastic
  In view of our expertise in both metal and plastic we are very well placed to help you with composite components. The in house Manumold process enables us to overmould plastic around metal which is usually for added strength or to enable fixing of the plastic part to another structure. • Product Enhancement
  Product features are usually the domain of the product designer. However, our own design team has been responsible for many innovative aspects of a final product design. A particular Case Study example is the use of two bonded plastics in the Heinz Baby Basics range of infant feeding equipment. The combination of soft and hard plastic gives a very tactile feel to any item that is held or touched in the course of use or operation.
